Sony has announced a new top-of-the-line smartphone. It is the Xperia XZ2 Premium, a more powerful version of Xperia XZ2 with screen improvements, camera, battery and RAM.
While the XZ2 introduced during the Mobile World Congress had 5.7-inch Full HD screen, the new XZ2 Premium has 5.8-inch 4K display. The new smartphone has the vibration system introduced in the XZ2 that provides feedback to what happens on the screen, which means that the device shakes according to video, music or game.
The camera is now double. The system designed by Sony uses a sensor of 19 megapixels colored and a monochrome of 12 megapixels. The highlight of the camera, however, is due to the low-light performance. The Japanese manufacturer promises better results than other devices on the market when lighting conditions are low.
Regarding the technical specifications, the XZ2 Premium uses the same XZ2 Snapdragon 845 processor, but now with more RAM (6GB, while the previous one has 4GB) and 3.540 mAh battery (the XZ2 has 3.180 mAh). The front camera has 5 megapixels, and the device leaves the factory with Android 8.0 Oreo.
Sony has not yet announced the price of the XZ2 Premium, but has already confirmed that it begins to be sold in the third quarter of the year.
