Nokia may be the next Android maker to launch a phone with the “fringe” of the iPhone X. Images leaked this Friday, 27, show an alleged Nokia X6 with minimal edge screen with notch, dual rear camera and digital reader . In addition, HMD Global, which controls the brand, has hinted that it can bring the N series, famous for the N95, back.
According to the GSMArena publication, the alleged photos of the Nokia X6 were shared on the Chinese social network, showing the phone in all its details. The device should have a screen ratio of 19: 9, with a cut to the front camera and loudspeaker similar to the iPhone X. However, unlike the Apple device, the bottom edge is more advanced and features the brand of the Finnish company.
The Nokia X6 also features a dual rear camera with an equally dual LED flash. The technical characteristics of the sensors are not yet known, but the expectation is that it is used for functions such as portrait mode and optical zoom. Below is a fingerprint reader.
For now, Nokia has not yet confirmed the launch of the Nokia X6 and neither gave information about the phone. However, rumors indicate that the device may be released on May 16.
Brand can bring N series back
Also in China, HMD Global has published an image that has rekindled the hope of many Nokia fans. In its official profile on the social network Weibo, the brand controller published the photo of a Nokia N8 with an invitation to “unpack a new phone.” The publication also recalled the release of the first device in the series exactly 13 years ago.
Although the publication is vague, Nokia has been reviving several of its most iconic handsets in recent years. In addition, the N series is a favorite of the company’s fans, who have ordered new versions of the N95, N8 and other line phones that became known for the quality of their cameras with Zeiss lenses, according to the GSMArena. It remains to be seen, however, whether the company will make a double announcement in the coming months.
