The newest clone of the iPhone X launched in China has a feature that Apple’s smartphone abandoned. The Doogee V is an “infinite screen” device that also has a biometric sensor below the screen.
With the notch highlighted at the top, which seems increasingly the future of smartphones, the Doogee V does not use facial recognition, like the iPhone X, but the digital reading. Thus, it is the second smartphone in the market to have the biometric sensor integrated into the display, following in the footsteps of the also Chinese Vivo X20 Plus UD.
The technical specifications have not been disclosed, and the little that is known about the device is that the screen has 6.2 inches and it features USB-C connector and input of conventional headphones.
More information on the device will be unveiled on February 27th. Doogee is not known for high-end smartphones, so it’s quite likely that this iPhone X clone is a lot cheaper than Apple’s official – but it should also be less powerful.
