‘Assassin’s Creed Origins’ to earn non-violent educational version in DLC free

“Assassin’s Creed Origins,” the latest title in Ubisoft’s acclaimed action franchise, will be awarded an “educational mode” this month courtesy of a free DLC for those who already have the game but can be purchased separately for $ 20.

This is the “Discovery Tour” mode, which turns the map of ancient Egypt, where the main game is based, into an interactive museum. The new mode offers 75 guided tours through the map telling historical details about the game’s landscapes.

Ubisoft says it has hired experts in Egyptian history to develop each of the 75 tours that are completely free of violence and include scenarios such as the city of Alexandria, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx of Giza, the publisher said.

The “Discovery Tour” mode begins to be released on February 20th.
