Apple may launch more than one iPhone in the coming months. Documents found on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the regulatory body for Eastern European and North Asian countries, Apple prepares more than one device with iOS 11.
The documents, found by French website Consomac, indicate 11 new devices with iOS 11: A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, A2105 and A2106. It is possible that not all of these codes represent different devices, but variations of the same model.
But it is also possible that A19, A20 and A21 are three different smartphones. According to rumors, Apple is preparing to launch a new iPhone SE for the WWDC, a developer event that takes place in June. One such device may be the new SE. Also speculated are a SE Plus, with screen larger than 4.7 inches, and an iPhone X Plus of 6.1 inches.
At least in two recent episodes data found on the EEC site were referring to products announced shortly afterwards by Apple. The new iPads released last month appeared on the agency’s Web site, as well as the MacBooks released at WWDC last year.
WWDC takes place June 4-8 in the United States. If the new iPhones are introduced at the event, it will be the first time this has happened since Steve Jobs showed the iPhone 4 to the world in 2010.
