Samsung recently introduced its new high-end smartphone, the Galaxy S9. However, the device does not seem to have pleased everyone. According to information from SamMobile, 36% of users of the Galaxy S8 would not exchange their cell phone for the latest version.
The survey, which was conducted by the site itself, reveals that consumers based their decisions on the fact that there were no major changes in the design of the device and battery life. In addition, 17% of respondents say that the Galaxy S9 is very expensive.
Although the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + offer better performance, users are already expecting this from a more modern phone. For example, the Snapdragon 845 processor, which powers the S9, was already expected to be better than the S8 Snapdragon 835 before its technical specifications were officially announced.
The Galaxy S9 also won a new camera set, but that does not justify smartphone switching. Just like the Emoji AR and Super Slow-Motion features. Already 20% of users who answered the survey said they would rather wait to see next year’s launch, which is when the Galaxy S line completes 10 years.
